In the International League, No. 2 Mets prospect Matt Harvey (5-1) shined in Buffalo's 6-2 win over Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, scattering two runs on four hits and a walk with two strikeouts over 5 1/3 innings to earn his fifth win. Omar Quintanilla picked up three hits and three RBIs for the Bisons, and No. 9 Mets prospect Jordany Valdespin added a pair of hits. Steve Pearce led the Yankees with a double and two RBIs.

Corey Brown came within a double of the cycle and homered for the fourth straight game to tie a Syracuse record as the Chiefs beat Columbus, 13-4. Brown finished 3-for-5 with two RBIs and a run scored and Seth Bynum homered, doubled, plated four runs and scored three times in support. Jared Goedert homered and had three RBIs for the Clippers.

No. 2 Rays prospect Chris Archer (3-5) generated a career-high 12 strikeouts over six innings, but Durham couldn't get to Norfolk starter Miguel Gonzalez (2-1), who threw five shutout innings as part of a combined one-hitter to lead the Tides over the Bulls, 4-0. Lew Ford homered and Joe Mahoney tripled and brought home two runs to boost Norfolk.

No. 7 Minnesota prospect Liam Hendriks (3-0) surrendered just one unearned run on five hits and two walks while striking out nine over seven innings to lead Rochester over Gwinnett, 3-1. Sean Burroughs and J.R. Towles each provided a pair of hits for the Red Wings, while Luis Durango went 3-for-3 for the Braves.

Ross Ohlendorf (4-3) struck out six over six scoreless innings in Pawtucket's 4-1 victory over Toledo. No. 4 Boston prospect Ryan Lavarnway led the Red Sox, going 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored. Andy Wilk (2-4) scattered two runs over six innings while striking out seven, but took the loss for the Mud Hens.

In Game 1 of a doubleheader, Dylan Axelrod threw a seven-inning complete game, allowing just two runs and striking out five as Charlotte topped Lehigh Valley, 3-2. Erik Katz and Derrick Mitchell both homered in the loss for the IronPigs. In Game 2, Cody Overbeck hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the 10th to give Lehigh Valley a 5-4 win. He went 3-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs. Tyler Kuhn put together a 4-for-4 effort with a double and an RBI for the Knights in the loss.

Alex Presley hit a one-out triple in the bottom of the 15th and Matt Hague singled him home to give Indianapolis a 2-1 win over Toledo in the marathon. No. 13 Pirates prospect Rudy Owens started for the Indians, allowing one run in six innings while striking out four. Jeff Francis worked seven one-run innings of his own for the Bats.

In the Pacific Coast League, Mike Wilson went 3-for-5 with two doubles and three RBIs to lead Tacoma to a 7-2 win over Iowa. Brian Sweeney, making just his second start of the year for the Rainiers, allowed three hits and struck out two over six shutout innings. Cubs shortstop Luis Valbuena led the Iowa offense, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored.

In the first game of a doubleheader, MLB.com's No. 21 prospect Drew Pomeranz suffered his worst Minor League outing of the year as Oklahoma City trumped Colorado Springs, 7-4. The Rockies' No. 2 prospect allowed six runs (two earned) on seven hits over three innings after not allowing in 15 2/3 innings in the Minors. RedHawks left fielder Justin Ruggiano hit a three-run homer off Pomeranz in the second inning that proved to be the difference.

Two doubles and three RBIs from left fielder Andrew Brown helped the Sky Sox even the doubleheader with a 9-2 win in the second game. Guillermo Moscoso allowed only one run on six hits in his six innings of work as the Colorado Springs starter. Center fielder Brad Snyder homered in the seventh inning to provide the only spark for Oklahoma City.

Anthony Seratelli homered and drove in two runs from the bottom of the Omaha lineup as the Storm Chasers defeated Salt Lake, 4-2. First baseman Clint Robinson went 2-for-4 with an RBI and run scored out of the cleanup spot. Bees starter Matt Shoemaker lasted all eight innings on the hill, surrendering four runs (two earned) on eight hits, but fell to 3-4 on the season with the loss.

Manny Ramirez drove in a run for the second straight game of his rehab with Sacramento, but it wasn't enough as the River Cats fell to Round Rock, 5-3. Express second baseman Matt Kata doubled twice and added three RBIs while Julio Borbon went 3-for-4 out of the top spot in the order. Rangers' No. 7 prospect Neil Ramirez earned the win after allowing three runs over six frames.

Eric Hacker allowed one run over seven innings and even added two RBIs in Fresno's 12-5 win over Albuquerque. In the process, the righty became the first PCL hurler to reach eight wins this season. Catcher Eli Whiteside smacked his first home run of the season as part of a 3-for-5 day at the plate, and Justin Christian was 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs as the Grizzlies' leadoff hitter. Isotopes starter Will Savage, who was also seeking his eighth win of the year, surrendered seven runs over four frames to earn his first loss of 2012 instead.

Martin Maldonado's RBI groundout in the top of the 10th proved to be the game-winner in Nashville's 7-6 victory over Las Vegas. Brooks Conrad led the Sounds offensively with a 3-for-4 effort along with a home run and three RBIs. Blue Jays' top prospect Travis d'Arnaud hit two solo roundtrippers and former Major Leaguer Adam Lind added a two-run blast of his own in the loss.

Catcher Bryan Anderson was 6-for-6 with two doubles and drove in two runs, including the game-winner in the top of the 11th, to lead Memphis to a 7-6 win over Tucson. Second baseman Pete Kozma added two home runs and four RBIs for the Redbirds, who broke a five-game losing streak. Cardinals' No. 9 prospect John Gast allowed three runs (one earned) over six innings and was in line for his first Triple-A win before the Padres tied the game in the eighth. MLB.com's No. 63 prospect Yasmani Grandal was 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI for Tucson.
