The Red Wings right fielder, who hit 24 homers last year, doubled his output in the category this season. Clete Thomas added a solo roundtripper of his own and has gone deep in three of his past four games.

Brandon Duckworth gave up just an unearned run on three hits and set a season high with nine strikeouts over six innings in Pawtucket's 6-1 win over Buffalo. Batterymate Mike Rivera hit his first home run of the season and drove in three runs as part of a 3-for-5 day. Raul Reyes doubled and drove in the Bisons' only run.

Lew Ford doubled, drove in two runs and walked twice to lead Norfolk past Toledo, 6-1. With a similar line to Duckworth's, Tides starter Chris Tillman allowed a run on three hits and struck out through six frames. Ryan Strieby stroked a double and drove in the Mud Hens' only run.

Jason Pridie hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the 11th inning to give Lehigh Valley a 2-1 victory over Durham. Pridie was given the chance for the game-winner after Kevin Frandsen singled and then advanced on a balk by Bulls reliever Josh Lueke. Brandon Allen provided an RBI double in the top of the fourth to give Durham its lone tally.

Corban Joseph homered and drove in two as Scranton/Wilkes-Barre bested Syracuse, 6-2. Yankees pitcher Ramon Ortiz allowed two runs on four hits through 7 2/3 frames in his second-longest outing of the year. Chiefs sluggers Corey Brown tripled twice and Brett Carroll hit a solo homer.

Cord Phelps went deep and added three RBIs in Columbus' 6-2 win over Gwinnett. The Clippers' Zach McAllister (6 IP, 7 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 2 K) and the Braves' Yohan Flande (6 IP, 7 H, 3 ER, 2 BB, 2 K) put up nearly identical lines, but fell on opposite sides of the decision. Gwinnett shortstop Tyler Pastornicky went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI.

Pirates' No. 9 prospect Justin Wilson combined with Jose Diaz, Daniel McCutchen and Tim Wood on a one-hitter to give Indianapolis a 2-1 win over Charlotte. Wilson allowed the one hit -- a Greg Golson double in the fourth -- and one run while striking out five through six innings. Jeff Clement hit an RBI double in the first and hit the game-winning solo home run in the ninth.

In the Pacific Coast League, top Cubs prospect Anthony Rizzo and Alfredo Amezaga hit home runs and Chris Volstad tossed six two-run innings help Iowa edge past Albuquerque, 3-2. The Isotopes' Michael Antonini allowed one run on six hits and two walks with five strikeouts without factoring into the decision.

Nick Green homered twice and collected four RBIs and Luke Montz hit two doubles to propel New Orleans over Memphis, 6-1. J.D. Martin (4-6) surrendered just one run on seven hits with four strikeouts over six innings to get the win for the Zephyrs. Cedric Hunter doubled and drove in the Redbirds' lone run.

Brendan Harris went 3-for-3 with a home run, a double and five RBIs while Chad Tracy and Jimmy Cesario had three RBIs apiece in Colorado Springs' 16-4 rout of Las Vegas. Ricardo Nanita drove in two runs to lead the 51s.

No. 2 Giants prospect Francisco Peguero went 3-for-5 with a homer and a double and No. 10 Conor Gillaspie hit a pinch-hit, three-run shot as Fresno beat Salt Lake, 4-2. No. 13 Angels prospect Kole Calhoun paced the Bees, going 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs.

Top Brewers prospect Wily Peralta (2-8) allowed one run on eight hits and two walks with six strikeouts over 5 2/3 innings for the win in Nashville's 4-1 victory over Omaha. Andy Gonzalez homered for the Sounds and No. 7 Milwaukee prospect Logan Schafer went 3-for-4 with two runs scored from the leadoff spot. No. 3 Royals prospect Mike Montgomery (3-3) took the loss for the Storm Chasers, allowing four runs -- three earned -- over six innings and No. 2 Kansas City prospect Wil Myers went 4-for-5 with a double.

Trayvon Robinson tripled and picked up four RBIs and Scott Savastano went 3-for-4 with three RBIs to help Tacoma beat Sacramento, 12-10. Brandon Hicks, Anthony Recker and Adam Rosales homered in the loss for the River Cats.

Anthony Contreras went 3-for-5 with a home run, two doubles and four RBIs and Matt Clark supplied his own four-hit effort in Tucson's 10-4 win over Reno. Bear Bay (1-3) scattered two runs -- one earned -- over five innings to earn the victory for the Padres. No. 17 D-backs prospect Ryan Wheeler hit a solo home run and plated two for the Aces.

Roy Oswalt (1-1) earned his first win for Round Rock, gave up two runs on six hits and a walk while striking out five over six innings in a 4-2 win over Oklahoma City. Greg Miclat led the Express offense with home run, a double and three RBIs. Angel Sanchez turned in a three-hit effort for the RedHawks.
